lyrics
So I lay down in the grave
Under the water
Under your waves
Hands reach out
And pull me up
Alive again
I drink your cupIt’s only you alive in me now
It’s only you alive in me now
Your life, poured out
My death you bled
That I might start
Living dead.
You only die once
So I give it all away
My hopes desires and all my dreams
The plans that I have made
My heart is open now
For you to sow the seed
Let all that’s left alive
Be you in me
It’s only you alive in me now
It’s only you alive in me now
Take this heart of stone
Put in a heart of flesh
That I might just start
Living dead.
Take me over (repeat)
Why do you seek the living among the dead?
Death is put to death
There’s only life instead.
Why do you seek the living among the dead?
Death is put to death
There’s only life instead.
Jesus
You come alive in me
And I come alive in you
You come alive in me
And I come alive in you
I have been crucified with Christ; and it is no longer I who live, but Christ lives in me; and the life which I now live in the flesh I live by faith in the Son of God, who loved me and gave Himself up for me. Galatians 2:20
For if we have become united with Him in the likeness of His death, certainly we shall also be in the likeness of His resurrection, 6 knowing this, that our old self was crucified with Him, in order that our body of sin might be done away with, so that we would no longer be slaves to sin; 7 for he who has died is freed from sin. Romans 6:5-7
“But if Christ is in you, though the body is dead because of sin, the spirit is life because of righteousness.” Romans 8:10
In him you were also circumcised with a circumcision not performed by human hands. Your whole self ruled by the flesh was put off… having been buried with him in baptism, in which you were also raised with him through your faith in the working of God, who raised him from the dead. When you were dead in your sins … God made you alive with Christ. He forgave us all our sins, having canceled the charge of our legal indebtedness, which stood against us and condemned us; he has taken it away, nailing it to the cross. And having disarmed the powers and authorities, he made a public spectacle of them, triumphing over them by the cross. Col. 2:11-15
Or do you not realize about yourselves that Jesus Christ is in you? 2 Cor. 13:5
